Nothing really surprises me, to be honest. Wasn't sure what Gone Home was, so just picked that and Dishonored up on Steam for under $25. Yeah, I know I'm a little behind on the Dishonored thing, but better late than never, right? Plus $13 for the game and all DLC works for me! BTW, Bioshock did a great job with “Will the Circle be Unbroken."

I knew GTA5 would take GOTY over the Last of Us. Thought the Last of Us had a better story, guess that's not always a deal breaker. Then again GTA5 had the best online package.

GTAV was GOTY in my opinion. Although I never got to play the last of us.

I think award shows are pretty silly in general, but I'm somewhat glad they exist so deserving people get some form of recognition apart from the millions of dollars they get. That said, I agree with GTA V winning and I'm glad they got some love. I think they have their finger on the pulse of gaming more so than most others. I'm a little surprised with Injustice winning, though, I thought it was pretty mediocre beyond the charm of the superhero characters.

I am not that surprised either. I was rooting for the GTA V for the best game ever. It even came out later in the year and still managed to triumph over the over great titles of the year. That was a awesome feat nonetheless.

That show was a train wreck, awkward and painful to watch. I was live tweeting during it, and everyone pretty much agreed that it was one of the worst things that has ever happened to the VGA's. I did enjoy the interviews with the devs and hope that they come back next year. I think everyone knew that GTA V was going to win game of the year, but how is GOTY and Studio of the Year two different things? If you won GOTY shouldn't you also win Studio of the Year?
