Gamestop Managers get Free PS4 + 7 games

Wow, that is great for Gamestop Managers, they are not getting any discount or so but they are getting the complete Playstation 4 along with 7 games for free.

Haha, my manager just looked at me and smiled the biggest smile followed by, "After all the s--- this company puts me through, it is nice of Sony." I find it both interesting and amusing that it is not Gamestop buying their managers the system and said games, but Sony themselves.

Especially since it's almost all the line-up of launch they earn

The first thing I said when I read the headline was "It would be great to be a Game Stop manager right now." and pretty much open up this thread and everyone said about the same thing. Now, I wonder how many GS managers will be putting their console onto ebay.

I thought I'd seem all the PR moves from the big console developers, this is a great idea from Sony, either the managers will be grateful for the money selling them on Ebay or grateful for the console. I'm sure this will result in extra sales, just like other people have commented, having the managers own the consoles will give them something to talk about with customers.

I know the majority of people on launch will go for the the console they want but Christmas is always round the corner and I'm sure there will be people torn between the One and PS4 and this could tip the Christmas balance!

Oh, well that makes much more sense - GameStop hates their employees, but discounts make the hurt a little better I'd think. Also this makes me like Sony even more!

Its pretty smart on Sony's part though. I mean, if you were given a free PS4 AND games, youd have to be the ultimate XBOX fanboy NOT to play them.

What better way to get people to talk about and sell your games than to get said games in peoples hands? Sony is confident that the games are good, now theyre just finding even more ways to get the word out.

I remember when I first got hipped to this thread. I was excited for the Gamestop managers, which is ridiculous lol. I just know how great it feels to be a manager, and getting that free system with those great games.

I'm sure being a manager at one of the biggest gaming store franchises in the world is very stressful. Imagine all the spoiled kids who keep on shouting if they don't get the game they wanted. Imagine angry parents shouting on why this game made their kid violent. I'm sure the managers would surely appreciate the gesture by Sony.

Whilst not that practical, it would be nice that the employees would have a perk, too.

Wow that is nuts. They are going all out. This is a genius move on Sony's part though. Store managers are obviously going to push Sony products harder now because of this gift.
