Fps

well try not to get to immersed by the graphics, becuase then you will find youself focusing on the middle of the screen and not all around you

As someone else, said, try not to get immersed with the graphics, always look around instead of at the middle of the screen. I would set your controller sensitivity slightly higher than you want it also - it makes it easier to hit targets that jump out, even if it takes a couple games to adjust to. Another really good one is to look around with your joysticks, not just your eyes - try to keep them as in line with each other as possible, because it can make it easier as well. Always aim a little low, that usually helps my accuracy. Good luck!

You know Ive read that pro players actually have their sensitivity turned down a little, not on max as you would expect.

But as for myself,I usually start off on default and raise it a few bars gradually over time to the lowesy 'high setting' but I find if I havent played for a while and start again I need to turn it down once again and start the process all over again.

Never care about graphics, and never take it into consideration when buying a FPS. FPS is about reflexes, twitch reactions, and tactics, not pretty graphics that make the game laggy and random, unrealistic features and gimmicks. Only focus on the crosshair and the area around it, as well as the borders of the screen, not the gun. Employ slower tactics, and rushing into battle isn't always the best idea.

Don't get shot. Just kidding, but it's vital. Also try to be familiar with the analog controls first if you're transitioning from PC it's hard to get used to it.

Reload behind cover, look before crossing a path, etc. It's pretty much the same as in PC except the mouse is much more accurate. Most FPS games do have aim assist though (which is really obnoxious in BF4 btw) to help make up for this. Playing FPS games with friends is also great fun so you should definitely play with friends. It makes the game 5x more fun IMO.
