Japanese Xbox One Commercial Is Pretty Great

I don't know if anyone else saw this Japanese Xbox One commercial or not, but I really like it.

I know a lot of these games aren't exclusive, hell I've already played my fill of some of these games on PS4, so a lot of this commercial doesn't even apply to me. But throwing everything together in one awesome commercial like this makes a convincing case for the console.

That's a pretty good commercial, though XBox one is going to have a hell of a time getting their foot in the door in Japan.

That commercial pretty much sums up the Xbox One. Better than any other American Xbox One commercial that I have seen so far. I still think the Japanese will stick with their PlayStation's though.

Pretty good commercial, indeed! Surprisingly so! But I still doubt the X1 will succeed in Japan, those guys there mostly stick to Sony and Nintendo.

Was a decent commercial. I am still thinking about getting an XboxOne. Myself and my wife usually get different consoles, this time we both got a PS4 lol

That's something I read, no idea how true it is. Plus it is also possible they just didn't make many for Japan..

I know i'm in the middle of a PS4 site, but have to say i do have more fun on my xb1 too! It's the games man... it's all about the games! LOL

Yes, the only thing that's appealing on the XBOX ONE for me is the games exclusive to it. I love Halo; always have since the first XBox. And a lot more other titles that I can't remember at the moment.

I just can't comprehend why they'd stick to 720p resolution with their games. That's just a bad decision. If they went with 1080p, I would have an Xbox One right now instead of a PS4.

When your having oodles of fun because the game your playing is so much fun, it doesn't really matter.

play Ryse/Forza 5 and then tell me Xb1 games don't look / or can't look good !

I've got both consoles and hand on heart i think Ryse / F5 are the best looking games, even better IMO than Killzone/Infamous (which i have ) so my point is, the right game the right developer the Xb1 CAN do 1080p etc ( edit i know that RYSE is 900p but its more than 720p and looks just as good if not better than some 1080p games i've played ) , just needs a dev who knows how to use the arcitecure to get it out the system. Cross console games will be where it has an issue.

Point is, it ain't as bad as some poeple would make you believe. Yes COD Ghosts on XB1 looked pretty gash, and titanfall isn't going to win any awards. But after 5 minutes it's the game content that counts, not how pretty ??

Take it from someone who's grown up with Playstations, loves SONY but still sees the good side of Xbox's.

We are at a point where everything looks good. If fanboys didn't need bullet points there would be none of this Ps talk..

Yeah. Unless you've got a giant tv, I don't think you're really gonna see much difference between 720 and 1080. I certainly don't. Half the time when people hold up images to show how different the consoles are, I can't tell which is supposed to be the good one.

I think we're in very early days in this generation. Most of the games coming out are still being made for the 360 and PS3. Take a look at the beginning of the last generation and compare those games to what you saw later on, when developers were really taking advantage of what the consoles could do like The Last of Us.

edit - I forgot which thread I was posting in. With regards to Japan, I don't think it matters. XBox will lose not because it doesn't have enough Ps or because it doesn't have enough good exclusives or anything fair. It will lose because it's Japan and Sony is Japanese and Microsoft is not. Xbox 360 was better than PS3 in a lot of ways and they got slaughtered. Which is fine.

Yeah, I'm guessing they just didn't produce that many. 100% sell-through isn't too amazing for a low quantity run.

You know, I really wonder, why are the exclusives from Japanese developers on the Xbox consoles? It's practically suicide for their home market, which sometimes is the only thing that matters to the Japanese (see how there might not be a Zero Escape 3 because it didn't sell well in Japan, even if it did well in the west). It isn't always that Microsoft is paying for the production of the game either, like with all those obscure shmups the 360 got....

It's really great and it might as well help them with some sales in Japan for the first time around. There si literally no demand of Microsoft's consoles in Japan as of now. Let's see what happens.
