So I have a friend, and yes I do actually mean a friend, that started playing Like A Dragon. He ordered a PS4 disc version off of Amazon. For some reason even though he's in America they sent him the EU version. He didn't notice until he started playing. He had INTENDED to get the PS5 upgrade since he just recently got that console but because it's EU and his account is American he can't get it for free. He could live with this. However, he then bought the DLC digitally and ran into the same problem. He bought them from the store but because the disc is EU they don't work for him. So please note he's playing the PS4 version on his PS5, which is why I have it in here.
I've seen a potential work around for this by creating a new user on his console but registered as an EU account and then buying the DLC there. In theory anything bought on that account should be usable by anyone else on the console but would this work with the DLC? Would his main american account recognize that the DLC bought on the other account is specifically EU and let him download and play it on his main american account or is he just boned?
