Thanks mate, money isn't the issue although it might be a little cheaper actually.. But the main reason is all the day one consoles are sold out and the next shipment for stores isnt until early 2014.The only thing would be the plug, you would probably need an adapter. The console is region free so it should work fine and with the games. Why do you want to buy it in America and have it shipped to Australia? Seems a bit weird to me. Is it cheaper? Do you get it earlier?

It has been confirmed that the console does not have any region locking whatsoever.
But not Blu-Rays movies. It'll still be region encoded for them.

SO is anyone considering buying a couple extra PS4's and selling them to people in other countries? Some have predicted that there will be shortages in other countries. It could be a nice way to turn a quick profit but you'd have to account for the higher cost of shipping.
