Where is your tv?

Do you have your tv on a console type stand or is it hooked to the wall or a shelf? We have 3 TVs but only use 2 of them and the one we don't use is on the floor. LOL But the one we use most is on a stand in the family room. The one in the master bedroom is on the wall and we had it professionally installed.

I live alone in a small 1 bedroom condo so I only have 2 TVs. Both are gaming TVs. My HDTV is in my living room. It currently has an NES, PS3 and PS4 hooked up. The Genesis needs repair so it isn't hooked up currently and I have no cables or controllers for the free Atari I got. I also have a CRT TV in my bedroom I just recently got. As of now I have my PS2 and Dreamcast hooked up to it. But I'm building a new TV stand that can hold both TVs in the near future (parts are currently shipping in!). I'll show it off when it's complete :) But basically the plan is to hook up my PS3, PS4, future PS5, my Dreamcast (connected through HDMI via VGA) and my fat PS2 (which is undergoing repair and will also be softmodded with Free McBoot so I can output in 1080) to my HDTV. The CRT TV will be the main retro gaming TV. I'll have my NES, Genesis when repaired, Atari and my silver slim PS2 hooked up to it.

Just upgraded to a Roku 4kTV from a Samsung HD Smart TV this year. I live with parentals and every other room is used for something, so my TV is in my room on my dresser across from my bed, with a soundbar hooked up to it. 58" I might add.

Got my PS4, XBONE and OptiPlex hooked to it.

When I move in with my bf in the future, it's going to go in our living room.

How do you like it? I'm hoping to get a 4K TV ahead of the PS5 launch. Does it come with component or am I going to have to redo some stuff for one of my PS2s to work on it? :)

Mine has an RCA input. Don't think it does component.

It's a Hisense brand if you don't mind the RCA instead of component.

I kinda do :( But I've noticed that about modern TVs I've been looking at. Component is getting tougher to find. But it's weird to me they're keeping RCA. Doesn't seem like much supports that anymore unless you're hooking up a DVD player, and even then, component still looks better lol. I'm guessing it's just down to cost really. RCA is cheaper to put in. Component you need more jacks and an analog to digital converter built in (which I guess you still need for RCA?). I guess anything to save a penny in production lol. I dunno. I've just been coming to accept it at this point. I've already been researching converter cables for my older consoles that I want on the HDTV. I've already purchased one for my Dreamcast and very satisfied with it. I may buy the same one for my Fat PS2. But you know what else is BS? These TV manufacturers are putting in less HDMI too! I have 4 on my TV now and I'm already out. I'm gonna need some serious splitters at the end of the day lol.

Yeah my Samsung I had had 2 HDMI on it and the Hisense has 3. If I want audio on the TV going to my soundbar on my OptiPlex, I have to plug it into the one with ARC support. Which is dumb in my opinion.

We have 3 TVs. Though we don't use the one in the basement any longer. We keep it because it's still good. We have one in the living room which is on an entertainment center. The last one is in the bedroom on a table.
