What was the last movie you watched?

The last movie I watched was Fast and Furious 6. It was really disappointing, I think it was missing many car scenes in there. Overall there was just too much talking and not enough action, not impressed at all. The ending was stupid and boring too.

I honestly don't understand why they keep making those movies. I have nothing against them in general, but very few franchises are deserving of 6+ films. I think I've seen the first two, but I was only mildly interested in those to begin with. How many movies can you make about that kind of racing, anyway?

Well, Fast and Furious 5 was more of a crime heist action-thriller which was a nice change. And I think Fast 6 is more of the same so that's good. I actually don't mind the Fast and Furious movies. Fast and Furious 4 and onwards are the best of the franchise.

Sort of on topic, I recently watch the newest Die Hard film. Disappointment is an understatement, it just didn't really fit. The first car chase scene was way too long and confusing, and there were very few memorable action scenes. The villain reveal at the end was pretty good though. I just can't get past the cringe-worthy "I'm on vacation!" shouts that McClane reuses every few minutes - its just not the same as "Yippy kai yay, m__________"

Star Trek Nemesis.

Finally now have seen all the Star Trek films. Nemesis was good. Not great but good. I still think the best Star Trek is The Search for Spock. That was just remarkable and loved every minute of it. Now I need to move on and find another series.

Maybe Battlestar Galactica?

I didn't even bother to see that one. Live Free Or Die Hard was bad ass. And you go from that to McClane versus the Kremlin? Gimme a break. They should've picked up where the last one left off. A guy like the villain from Live Free Or Die Hard was bound to have a backup plan or backup team.

I FINALLY GOT TO SEE MAN OF STEEL! :D (Came out today here so went the first session)

10/10

It was everything I hoped for and then some. I could literally write a 2 page essay on how much I loved this movie - but I won't. Let's just say that I'll be going back next week. Then the week after in 3D, and then probably the following week...

The last film I watched was Man of Steel. If I would have to give it a rating, I would give it a 6/10. The movie was good but that's it, it was only good. From watching all the trailers I not only expected something great, I was expecting something amazing. I will admit the action in the movie was top notch but other than that, everything else fell pretty flat. I hope the sequel will improve on the big flaws this one had.

Ah that's a shame you didn't find it great. I've only come across one other person who loved the film almost as much as I did.

Speaking of... I saw it again today for the second time (and will be seeing it again next week in 3D) and it was even better. I know lots of people have issues with the film but I just don't see them. I love this movie!! So freaking much!

The last I watced is a sort of old movie called "The Departed". It has Leonardo Dicaprio and Matt Damon on it. The movie is a remake of a HK movie called Infernal Affairs. The story is about the two cops. One works for the police state but he actually reports to the Crime Organization leader. While the other one, works at the organization but actually reports to the police state, no one has seen what he looks like except for the chief. Both the police state and the organization are aware that they have a mole on them. And they have to figure it out before the other one does. I would definitely give it a 10/10.

Before Sunrise - 10/10

Absolutely love this film and it's sequel. Going to see Before Midnight next week! Very excited.

The last movie I watched was The Prestige, where Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman are rival magicians, also in the cast are Michael Cain and Scarlett Johansson and the director is Christopher Nolan.
For some reason I had never heard of it, I have no idea how it slipped past me when it came out.
It's a great movie with an interesting plot and full of surprises :)
I highly recommend it!

Just finished watching the remake of Maniac with Elijah Wood.

Was good. Very disturbing but a unique way how it was filmed (98% of the film is filmed through first person perspective from the killer's view) probably won't watch it again though, not exactly uplifting lol.

Just watched Turbo with my girlfriend. I wasn't expecting much from the movie because the trailers were not very enticing or unique. A snail, being gifted with speed, going on a race... The trailer was just like Cars. But when I actually watched the movie, I was very entertained. I did not expect it to be fun and exciting and very heart warming and uplifting. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Went to see Man of Steel about a month ago with my girlfriend. It was good. I never really was a Superman fan, but I liked their interpretation of Superman.

Dunno how I feel about them jumping straight to a Batman/Superman film, though.

At the cinema?
Man of Steel, and I too really liked the way they did this one overall.
Sometimes reboot's work, sometimes not.but I think in this case its very good.

Hmm I don't think I saw anything since Star Trek Into Darkness. As you can probably deduce from my avatar, I am quite a big Star Trek fan , so I had to see the midnight screening of this film and it was great. Much better than the first reboot film from 2009. The pacing was a blot better, although there was still a lot of focus on action, but you can't really blame them. If you have even a passing interest in sci fi/action then go check this out, I think it will be coming out on DVD/blu ray soon.
