PS4 Turns On but no image is showing up on TV. Is my HDMI port gone?

Hello all!

After a lightning this Saturday, I noticed my PS4 is turning on, but the image is not being shown in my TV as it's showing a "No Signal" message. The Console was turned off by the time of the lightning, but it was plugged in the socket. It's now flashing a blue light when I turn it on and then it goes white without showing image AND it doesn't do the noise of trying to read the media inside anymore.

I've already tried a couple of different HDMI cables and 2 other TVs to isolate the problem. Also tried to hold the power button for 7secs to try turning it on Safe Mode, but no image was shown after the second "beep".

What do you guys think? Is my HDMI port fused? Can I still try any other thing?

Thanks for the attention!

Kind regards,
Enrico

Try contacting Sony and tell them the problem and also if you've had your PS4 for under a year its still under warranty and I'm pretty sure Sony will send you a new one if you cant solve the problem. (not 100% sure on this)

I'd hazard a guess and say it is perhaps your HDMI port on the PS4. If its not working in other TVs then that sounds like the safest bet.

Until yesterday, everyone had ps4 warranty because in this day last year Sony launch the PS4

yeah but if you bought the PS4 lets say this past February then you'd have the warranty until February of this year. Not everyone on here bought their PS4 on launch date.

The only other thing I can think of and I know this is late but since the topics been bumped up for November. Starting your PS4 in safe mode and seeing if you get a picture often overlooks in pre existing settings. I found this useful when I was trying to set up my PS3 a lot and once on my PS4.

Do you have your PS4 plugged into a surge protector? Only ask because from what you describe, it sounds like you fried something inside your PS4 in the lightning storm. When it's storming out, your safest bet is to not run electronics, shut them off and make sure they're plugged into a surge protector. If you have a power surge, that extra jolt of power will fry electronics easily. I'd know. I've done it :)

You're best bet at this point is to contact Sony. Definitely what you describe sounds like an issue with the PS4. Good luck and let us know what happens :)
