PS4 game installed on PS5

Just purchased a PS5 disk unit. Traded in my PS4. I had a game (PGA Tour 2K23) and I kept it and installed it on the PS5. Apparently I will have to redo my avatars/characters and all their stats or is there some way to pull them from my Playstation account?
