Porting your GTA V character to PS5?

Is it possible for the players that have played GTA Online on PS4 to transfer their charcater to the next generation console, PS5? If it's not possible it would be really bad and unfair for those who spent a lot of time grinding for cash ingame. But I believe they would allow such a transfer!

Yes, but, be forewarned: It will "delete" your previous PS4 account's character. Not the account itself, but to transfer your character to PS5 means your old PS4 character is reset.
