Kojima say's Phantom Pain to be released when enough PS4's have been sold

So this is interesting, I didn't realize that Kojima had this much pull. But he's been quoted as saying that Phantom Pain isn't going to be released until he feels like enough PS4's have been sold. My question is how many are enough for Kojima, what goal has he set for Sony and I guess we can include Microsoft here too. Since when did he have this much power?

Yeah this is unfortunate news but at the same time, it's progress and I'm just glad to get some MGSV news and not just MGS: GZ. I cannot wait and I hope GZ has a storyline.
