Error Code CE-116865-7

Can anyone help me with this...I had to order a new remote for my TV but I found out that I can pair the PS5 Media Remote with a TV. Now obviously my PS5 is connected via an HDMI cable. So when I go to set up the remote for the TV, I get the Error Code CE-116865-7, I've looked all over the internet, all over YouTube and even Sony and no one has an official answer for this code. I just want to set it up so in case I need a backup remote in case something goes wrong with the remote that is for the TV. Can someone help me out? Thanks.
