I've played DW2, DW3:XL, DW4, DW5, and DW6, but my personal favorite is DW4, but only because I am able to use a cheat device for Infinite Health and Musou to obtaining all items and every character's 10th Level weapon. Also, I love the ending song too. The only drawbacks are the music tracks, which they have changed from DW3, such as Arena in DW3 which was replaced with the Parade of Death in DW4. But there are equally good tracks on DW4 as well, such as Eve and Struggle for Existence (Battle of Chengdu Theme).

I used to play 4 a lot, but on the PC. Thinking of getting the last one for the PS3, but i don't know if it's worth waiting for the one that just came out on Japan or getting the last one that was released in english.

I first played Dynasty Warriors on the PS2. I was amazed with the way that the game allowed me to battle dozens of soldiers at once! I kept hacking and slashing my way to the next hapless foot soldier until I was the last man standing. I got tired of it eventually though. I haven't even played a single Dynasty Warriors game on the PS3.

I've been a fan of Dynasty Warriors since I played it on the PS2 some years back. Although I loved the hoards of enemies you can smash your way though, downside I think is that the series was a little too repetitive. I hope if they make a version for the PS4 they can beef it up a bit.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Dynasty Warriors, to be honest. Trust me, I love the game so much! I love games where you get to control a single character and be part of a larger army, unlike the Total War games. I like murdering armies of foot soldiers and their generals. The game feels so immerse. On the downside, my only frustration about this game was with a boss named Lu Bu. I hate that guy so much. I simply cannot defeat him. He's too strong ._.

Dynasty Warriors is a great continuation of the series. It has everything that I enjoy about DW4. Plus, it has a few new modes that allows you for shorter battle sessions. If you like DW4 then you will love this Dynasty Warriors game. A definite buy!!!
