Dualshock 3

So I have a question because it's been a really long-ass time since I've played my PS3, I still have it and recently got back into playing it. But I can't for the life remember if the PS3 controllers were light or were they heavy similar to how weighted the Dualshock 4 and Dual Sense controllers are. I recently bought a PS3 controller off Facebook and to me it feels like a knockoff with the Sony name so then I ordered another one this time from DK Oldies and this controller fells the same, have they always been light or have I been ripped off twice now?

You've been ripped off.

Facebook Marketplace has been known to be a scammer's haven. I was going to share a video, but I don't remember which video I saw it on, but most FB Marketplace products are shoddy. It's kinda like buying from Aliexpress. (Do NOT buy from there. It's Chinese knockoff products.)

Always buy from the most reputable places. Always buy official Sony controllers. No one else. Unless you know Scuf, or Steelseries, or Hori or any other well-known controller makers.

It's probably authentic. The Dual Shock 3s are really light. I fix, recondition and resell them. There isn't much inside and the plastic is not all that great (thin and easily broken). If you are unsure, open it up and compare it to known motherboards. The knockoffs will not look like authentics inside.

I've never used the knockoffs myself but from what people in forums say, they're fine. They usually say P3 instead of having the playstation button.

Yeah the controllers I got say P3 on the center button and don't have the Playstation Logo, but they work just like the official Sony PS3 controllers but it's so hard to find the official ones, seems no one has the original controllers. But they work, I guess I was just trippin' because the Dual Shock 4 and the Dual Sense controllers are a bit heavier than their predecessors.

The DS3 doesn't feel AS heavy as the DS4 or DS5, but you can still feel the heftyness of it. The knock offs are definitely lighter than the original dualshock3

Also, Facebook as a bunch of scammers on there so be wary buying there
