Can’t log into my sub account on ps5. My son has a ps4 which his account was under his dads account and cannot login on his ps5

My son recently got a ps5 and cannot seem to login to his sub account on it. We have tried everything. He’s never had this issue on his ps4 & I’ve googled everything I can think of
