Hello! It seems our PS4 is starting to bog down during intense couch co-op Alienation gameplay, more so than before. It feels as if when the board gets very full and there are a lot of explosions and intense fighting our PS4 is being pushed beyond keeping up.
I have noticed that our PS4 is starting to beep for a few minutes every time we start to play our PS4 beeps about 10 times or so. Some places say this is a hard drive issue. Maybe our hardware is indeed not in the best of shape. And maybe our PS4 is in need of a full factory reset/clean install.
I also know Alienation is capped at 30FPS even on the PS5 but I think at times we're no where near 30FPS so upgrading to a PS5 (if I can find one!) would fix the issue.
So, I'm wondering, do PS4 games - and Alienation in particular - play smoother on the much more powerful PS5?
