I bought a lot of good games on sale under $10 like God of War, Uncharted bundle, Jedi Fallen Order, etc. Just have to wait for a good sale. Newer games like Spiderman I got on sale for $20-$30. I just got the new Horizon Forbidden West on sale for $39.99

I believe you have to in the setup menu manually move games over to the external HD and only PS4 games can be played from the external HD. You need to install an SSD stick to store PS5 games on that.

Well the PS5 can respond to the controller bluetooth signal to power it back on, so its not really totally off. But standby power consumption I would think should be way less than 32watts.

The game data for saved games and progress should be saved separately and takes small space compared to the game itself. You can delete the game and the game data should still be saved, you can check for it in the list for internal storage under settings.

Its better to just get a separate regular blu-ray player for playing movie/TV video discs. Don't need discs for games - they are all downloadable directly now.
