I would try rebooting (unplugging for 3 minutes) of both the Modem and the port switch, then plug back in. and try again. If that doesn't work, I bet running a long ethernet from the Modem/router will work fine. I think your internet service is fine, it's all the stuff between the modem and PS5...
Odd... sounds like either a bad grounding issue or it wasn't put back together properly and having the screws in where they should be, is pinching something crucial. The fact that the fan doesn't work at all says to me, that it wasn't re-assembled right. Something's missing there. Might be worth...
It could be that the resolution may be set higher than that of your current panel. Did you change displays at all? If so, connect to a lower rez panel and check. If you didn't, it may well be a faulty HDMI cable instead of the port. If you have a 4K panel, get a good HDMI - a 48gig just in case...
If you still have access, I would go into the guest game you were playing, make sure your save game is there, then go into the settings, upload he game into the cloud, then go into your main sign on, go into the settings again and download that data back in. Should work.
I had the Sennheiser Game Zeros running out of an Astro Mixamp Pro, using Optical out of the PS4 Pro but because the 5 has no optical out, I run the 5 direct into my TV... eARC HDMI into my receiver and optical out into the same rig. No lag, no delay. I recently switched out the Game Zeros with...
Mine worked fine - had all my saved data. I don't have it in front of me right now but when you go into that saved data for PS4 in the cloud, there's the main directory file but to the right, are the specific files belonging to that game so make sure you click on all those files, not just the...
In no way did I waste money. I did not buy it for content... again, I bought it for the processing and if you've never really seen it in your own environment - you'll never get it but if you're good with your panel, perfect! Don't knock my choice because you THINK it's not worth it.
I gotta tell ya, the processor in the 8K is fraking insanely good. All my sources look better on it - Ps1, Ps2, Ps3, Ps4-Pro, X-Box, X-Box360, X-Box1, X-Box-X, DVD's BluRays, 4K Blurays, PC, Antenna... if this panel didn't improve what I had on my 4K panel, I wouldn't have bought it!
Okay, so... Performance mode is running at a higher frame rate but cannot run with Ray Tracing on. Ray Tracing gives better reflections, detail but is considered more of a graphics mode. Both the PS5 and X-Box X/S have the same limiting factor. If you run 120fps, you cannot run Ray Tracing and...
None I've seen yet - mind you I don't get every game but they don't even list the audio format on the back of the shell any more. Sony is weird this way... they produce movies in Atmos, 4K Bluray in Atmos as well as DD THD and DTS HD, you'd think they'd get their poop together on games since...
Pretty much every PS game is only 5.1 DD, very few are DTS 5.1 but where it does matter is if you're playing bluray discs. Movies are now DD Atmos... DTS-X but there are virtually no games on PS in Atmos. The X-Box One, X and S have games in Atmos. If you're more concerned about movie...
Yes and no... All games require internet connectivity to do multiplayer BUT if you're doing the campaign - assuming a particular game has campaign mode, you do not need internet for that. However... some games will require internet initially to update and fix bugs, add DLC content or if you care...
Odd... typically, you can switch from PCM to Bitstream if the source (PS5 etc) can see a path. I would look at the HDMI input on the Anthem. It's possible that the particular port on the receiver needs to be internally (menu setup) for it or maybe can only do surround on certain ports. That's...
Looks like a parameter the panel cannot handle. Try the Auto option for transfer rate, etc instead of forcing the 5 to push things the TV cannot display properly.
