Playstation Home on PS5

I know Playstation home is dead but i miss it i had some good times and it was a really god platform for kids that are 12 and below. It think it would be a good thing if Playstation home made a comeback and make the younger generation experience it. I would rather have that then have them playing fortnite and burning their brains out. Let me know what you guys think

I remember it. It's crazy because it's been dead for years but I still have the button on my PS3 for it in the XMB. I keep it around for nostalgia. But I personally never got into it. I downloaded it and maybe spent an hour in it before deciding it wasn't for me. Though I did understand the appeal to a lot of people. But I don't think it'll make a comeback anytime soon. I remember hearing it eventually became a very toxic place and with the amount of microtransactions, I can see it being controversial today. I dunno. Maybe they'll come out with something similar this cycle.

It was a resource hog for the PS3. It's like "It's either the game, or Home." It has some ideas that has some uses, but if you leave your PS3 on "standby" with Home running, your PS3 would ...overheat. Maybe the open world of "Home" may come through a game in some way. PS5 seems like it will be able to hold a city, like Crackdown 3 was envisioned. I'm scared of how big GTA6 is going to be. It was big with GTA5, but I foresee GTA6 saying "hold my beer."

I didn't know that about Home but I believe it. Wonder if it more overheated on the Fat PS3s. Those overheated when you just looked at it lol. I've never heard of any overheating issues with the Slim. At least, with as much punishment I put that through, I've never had an overheating issue. But I do take cooling seriously (my consoles never go inside any kind of TV console unless it's uncovered with proper flow.

folding@home overheated mostly on Fat PS3s. Especially when you leave it standby. They removed it after the backlash. folding@home returned as "Home" in some capacity. It has some good ideas, but it was limited in some respects. It drowns into obscurity, and it was removed. Again.

When i got the PS3 didn't really give a hint that it was under stress. It ran smooth for me. I think That ps home could potentially make a come back on the PS5 because i did a search on youtube about is and there was some one by the name of TheRealHuggablePanda making a video of PS home running on pc. Later on in the video there is a website where the listings of copyright products and software are updated and kept a record of she later explains that the PS5 may have PS home because Sony has updated the rights and extended it to 2028. This is the video:

I still have Home on my PS3. Spent hours on the thing, when I had very little PS3 games. It was good times.

The PS4 has something similar called Nebula Realms. I turned it on once and never went back to it.

I hope something like it comes to PS5. I'd give it a go, just for nostalgia's sake.
