The Oculous Rift is due later this month for USD $600 and HTC Vive due April for USD $800.
Ofcourse with the PS VR you dont need a PC but runs from a PS4.
Keep in mind you need the PS Camera and Move controllers to use with it as well.
However Sony have confirmed they will also be selling bundles consisting of the VR headset,camera and controller.
A nice bonus is that Playstation VR can play ALL PS4 games,but ofcourse in virtual cinema mode equal to a screen size max of 5 meters at 2.5 meters distance.
Anyone who uses Gear VR, google cardboard or similar plastic headsets knows what I mean.Basically just a giant screen in front of you.
As well as games you can watch movies,and view 360 degree photos.
