Xbox One's Best Game

This isn't aimed at you but referenced to the above point and the general PS4 fan base. I'm a neautral in this, i don't care either way, and am looking in on the sidelines laughing a bit.

Tomb Raider and Titanfall.

I GUARENTEE, here on the 10th November 2014, that if Titanfall 2 was to be released on the PS4, suddenly the franchise and the first game ( Titanfall ) would be the best thing since sliced bread. Is it SUCH a hard concept to understand that there may actually be a better game on another console ? Heck Baynotta 2 is considered one of the best ever hack and slash games made but that doesn't make me think i hate all things WII u, i just think fair play Nintendo.

To back this up, look at the backlash towards MS for securing the timed rights to the next Tomb Raider. A lot of the PS community was up in arms at the dirty tactics of MS doing this as though they weren't ALLOWED to be succesful !?!? The thing is, if SONY had bought the rights, you know dam well the SONY fanboys with their double standards would have said what a wonderful move by SONY.

I realize this a a predominately PS4 web site, but i do find it incredible people really struggle to acknowledge or even give the slightest but of credit to the "opposition" when they do actually do create and make some wonderful games.

I'm a gamer, platform is irrespective of predudice in my eyes. It's all about the games for me.

Tomb Raider is good, but then its timed exclusive, so PS4 will get it eventually.
I will continue disliking Titanfall even if it is released on PS4 I didnt like Destiny either even though it had too much hype for PS4.

I'm a single player person, I prefer single player story based games, PS4 provides better stuff for that type of players than Xbone.
If someone is MP based, then I believe Xbone is the better place to be for them than PS4.

Apart from Infamous Second Son and the PS3 port The last of Us, name me another PS4 exclusive Sp game ??

( for me TLOU is not a PS4 new game in my eyes. I've been playing that since it was released on PS3, so to me HD remakes don't count on next gen, and i don't think Infamous is that good a game either, certainly not better than anything on the XB1 )

If you are considering only the exclusives available at this moment, I can only say inFamous for PS4 and nothing for Xbox one.

I disagree that you should have to wait 2 years before anything comes out. Look at the titles we already have for the Xb1, and at this point in the PS3's history ( ie 1 year after release ) we had Uncharted 1, Formula 1 Championship edition, COD4, all monster games for one reason or another that still hold up to today. Keep telling yourself that you have to wait.

Also all the PS4 has to shout about for next year is UC4, Bloodbourne, The Order and LBP 3.

Meanwhile on XB1 to come 2015,

The makers of Bayonetta, a game that got 10/10 are also now finishing this Xb1 exclusive, Scalebound

Then there is also the game you want - Quantom Break and like you Remedy games are one of the masters of story telling in games. I loved Alan wake and ALL the DLC

Crackdown- The tech for this game is insane!!

I love games like this, and the art style of this is off the charts wonderful, Ori and the Blind Forest

Then there are others that are on the rumour mill for now, RYSE2, and Gears of War.

Then if MS are chucking money at games like they are, ( Minecraft is now MS owned game so will it now be exclusive for Minecraft 2 ) I'm pretty sure there is a conversation going on at the MS HQ about how much money they will give Repawn to make Titanfall 2 exclusive. SO far we just have want and rumour from the PS camp that it's coming to PS4, but nothing definate. There is also talk of Resident Evil 7 being Xbox exclusive.

Not being funny, only thing that's got me excited PS side to compare to this, is Uncharted 4, The second new IP from the second team at ND, God of War ( PLEASE ), whatever Quantic dream are doing right now, ( which i've heard is nothing more than a HD remake of Beyond 2 Souls ) ... and that's it.

Speaking about PS3, F1 meh, COD4 multiplatform, only uncharted was a worthy exclusive within first year of the release.

for now based on what I've seen from Xbone, Quantum break and Tomb Raider(timed exclusive) are the ones that makes me interested. Other games are multiplay so I can get it on PS4.

Again as I said the genre of exclusives between Xbox and PS are totally different, so you cannot really say which one is better.
There are many people who argue gears of war is a brilliant game while Heavy Rain is just an animated movie, while I enjoy Heavy Rain 1000 times more than Gears of War.

btw if you want to be fair, neither consoles have impressive exclusives lined up as last gen or the gen before.

Thats a fair point, but i do feel as first years games go, the XB1 has had some incredible games. Admittedly might not be your cup of tea, but lets give credit where credit is due to Titanfall.

It entered the FPS market, that has been dominated by COD/BF for ages, ON a new console, with new technology, and is not just good, IMO it's the best FPS since COD4. ( COD4 is still king to me though ) Hands down that's impressive to pull that off in year one!

Also from a visual standpoint, RYSE and Infamous deserve credit for being rock solid gorgeous games.

Got to say, you don't like Mp shooters, you don't like 3rd person shooters, you don't like F1 championship so makes me wonder you don't like racing games, you've only mentioned you like Infamous and Alan Wake... dude, what games/ genre do you ACTUALLY like playing ??

I disagree that the genre of exclusive games can't be compared between PS4/Xb1 though.

I like all genres(FPS, TPS, RPG etc...), but first story second gameplay third other stuff is important for me.
As for racing I like arcade like racing games like NFS, I'm looking forward to the crew(although downside being online only.

I agree with your point on titanfall, but again I'm not into MP stuff. (and also I agree COD4 was the greatest COD)

Ryse looks great, but story and gameplay fall short.


Again none of the current exclusives have that "wow" factor for me.

Ahhh see where your coming from a lot more now. Me, like you, loves a good story and now you come to mention it i'm hard pushed to think of a next gen game that has a cracking good story. ( i've yet to play Wolfenstein though as i'm told this has a good one )

Because of which i can't wait for UC4 and Quantic Break. Also i've got the HALO MC game, partly due to the fact i've been told the story in that is awsome.
I REALLy liked the story of RYSE though. Did you see the mini series live action films made for it ??

Yeah I'm tired of CoD but hate games like Battlefield and this game seems like it has the cod shooting with wide open maps and a lot of cool action in Titans.

Pretty much. I like to think it's even more fast paced and frantic then the COD games. If you're familiar with COD then you'll fit right in to Titanfall. Odd thing is I don't like COD but LOVE Titanfall

Yeah I understand. I haven't loved a CoD game since MW3 I really hate what the series has become.

AW really is different enough than previous CoDs I think.Simply cause of all the Exo jumping.Yet still feels like CoD too.
Way better than the previous CoD Ghosts in my opinion.
I max prestiged in AW so now I say roll on Black Ops 3.

The series just hasn't evolved quick enough. The innovation comes really slowly with this series for some reason. Its also become a milk the consumer for every penny they have kind of deal now. You get Advanced Supply Drops which increases the chance of you getting great guns which is entirely wrong and basically = pay for advantage. Of course you can get these weapons in normal supply drops but then its much less likely.

They've also completely fudged up the meta game. Instead of getting the best looking Camo by spending time with the weapon you can now drop £3 and get a better looking camo than the ones the game comes with. The map packs have become so over priced and now they're giving guns away in map packs which therefore can mean pay for an advantage. £35 for a season pass? Really that's a lot. Furthermore there is no end goal for the casual CoD player. Before Xmas I was prestige 10 but I knew I'd be too busy to play come Jan so I thought I'd be max prestige by April or May, nope, just add 15 more prestiges....so I stopped, no point, I'd never get that.

Instead of challenges unlocking cool gear, its random and you pay for a lot of the better looking stuff. So the meta game is fudged really.

The map design has become the biggest joke ever, everything is so CQC focused now and you can go to the end of the map in less than 15 seconds most of the time. I remember MW2 days where you had massive maps and it took a degree of skill to seek out enemies and kill them, now its just run around the map with your head cut off like a chicken.

They've also really screwed up weapon balance because everyone runs around with an ASM1 or BAL. Okay in previous games you always got a fav weapon loved by the people but all the other guns were almost just a good. In AW that's honestly not that true, same with BO2.

Now we've got the stupid future game coming out with robot arms, made up weapons and even smaller maps and less innovation than the last game.
